Welcome to Eastside Family Vision Care

Eastside Family Vision Care offers eyecare for children and adults. We are located in Kirkland, near Juanita beach, and within a short drive from highway 405. We have three areas of service

Family Vision Care
We offer a full range of vision care for your whole family:
• Comprehensive annual eye exams
• Prescriptions for glasses and computer glasses
• Medical visits (eg. prescribe medication for eye infection, diabetic exams, co-manage for
lasik and cataract surgery)

• Vision therapy

Pediatric Optometry
The AOA recommends infants receive their first eye exam by 6-12 months old, then again at 2-3 years old, and then every 1-2 years thereafter.

It’s important to diagnose and treat visual conditions early, to ensure proper visual development and prevent vision loss due to eye disease or hereditary factors. Pediatric exams often require more patience and creativity, and Dr. Gabrielle enjoys making the exam fun while obtaining all the necessary results. Our aim is to make the visit productive and stress-free for both the child and the parents.

Vision Therapy
Dr. Gabrielle specializes in vision therapy, which is effective in the treatment of physiological, neuromuscular and perceptual dysfunctions of the vision system. Vision therapy addresses many problems related to learning and behavior. We work with patients with special needs (eg. autism, ADHD, non-verbal patients) and those affected by traumatic brain injury (eg. patients who have had a stroke or head injury). Like physical therapy, these are typically 45-60 minute visits with an optometrist or trained vision therapist.

We have three experienced, creative and kind vision therapists who are trained to work effectively with all cases and all ages, from toddlers to seniors.

Dr. Gabrielle has been practicing optometry since 2000, and received her Fellowship from COVD (College of Optometrists in Vision Development).

Our philosophy

Every vision clinic practices differently. Our exams tend to last 1.5 to 2 hours while we conduct all of the necessary tests, and leave enough time to discuss the results with you and answer all your questions in a non-hurried manner.

We also have a highly personable approach to patient care, which leads to the most productive visits when working with children, elderly or high needs patients. We hire staff who are cheerful, friendly and focused on serving the patients' needs. We try to create a family-friendly atmosphere, so you will find plenty of books, magazines, toys and activities for children, and even snacks. We want you to feel at home here.
